Maureen grew up just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. She went to Penn State University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Shortly thereafter, returning to MD, she obtained her CPA certificate, while working in public accounting. She eventually started her own tax and accounting practice, which then led to her stepping into private industry -- manufacturing followed by hospitality food services. This background contributes significantly to her current role in helping new business owners easily understand how she will partner with them and help relieve their tax and financial obligations. Outside of work, Maureen enjoys spending time with family, going to sporting events, or just sitting around the table playing cards.
